Mary Valley Stags into SCGRL C gradePreliminary Final
Mary Valley have won their way into the Sunshine Coast Gympie Rugby League C grade Preliminary final defeating Yandina 24 points to 16 at Palmwoods.
Stags coach Jacob Madsen said: “We went in really really hot. Yandina are a really dangerous side and they really stuck it to us early.”
It was a back and fourth game before Mary Valley pull away.
Madsen said: “I was worried for a bit but the boys dug deep. Ryan Osbourne our centre had a blinder and got us over for a couple which put us back in front there and the boys hung on for a win. So very happy.”
