Palmwoods have claimed their third straight Sunshine Coast Cricket 2nd grade premiership after the third day of their Grand Final against Yandina was washed out.
The Hawks batted first on day one scoring 252 all out off 89.5 overs. Harry Pilgrim top scored with 90 before being caught by Mat Bruton off the bowling of Auden Cushen.
Nicholas Burford scored 34 with Brendan Jones contributing 28.
In response, Yandina were 72 for the loss of 4 wickets off 31.4 overs at stumps on day 2. Ryan Stewart top scored with 20 before being caught by Scott Hogan off the bowling of Mark Perussich. Mat Burton (on 19) and Lewis Warren (11) were the not out batters when play ended.
