Noosa take late win against Coolum
Noosa travelled to Coolum on Sunday to take on a Colts side coming off a six all draw the week before.
The Pirates took the win 18 points to 14.
Coach Michael Duff said: “It was a hard-fought win. Our guys dug real deep and our fitness from preseason shows that we can go to the back end of every game. So real credit to the boys, they dug deep, they played for the jersey on their back today and come away with the win.”
The Pirates sit in fifth, a game behind Beerwah on top. Coolum sit seventh, ahead of Kawana on for and against.
