Palmwoods are on top of the Rugby League Sunshine Coast C grade ladder going into Easter.
The Devils picked up the second win from as many games with a 22 points to 16 win over Caloundra in Caloundra.
Coach Darren Roberts said: “It was a tough game. Caloundra have lots of new players. We knew we were going to have it tough. At the start of the game we weren’t very patient but when we stuck to our guns we scored a few tries. To there credit they came back at the end there.”
The side had a scrappy first half but improved in the second half.
Roberts said: “It was that fifteen to twenty minutes [at the start of the second half] where we were very good. If we can put that together for seventy minutes we’ll win a lot of football games.”
