It’s just gone half time in the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union major semi final at Sunshine Beach. University lead Noosa 11-7 having scored an unconverted try right on half time and two penalty goals earlier on. Noosa have one converted try.

Noosa have just defeated Caloundra in the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union reserve grade major semi final.
They now have a week off before the Grand Final. Caloundra will play the winner of tomorrow’s minor semi – Maroochydore vs Fraser Coast – in next week’s preliminary final.

Anyone following the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union’s SGQ Cup closely may have spotted that the double chance in the finals has not been mathematically secured. That being said, the same was true about top spot last week.
