Coolum have come up short of the semi finals in Division 2A of Sunshine Coast cricket.

In there final round match, they were dismissed for 162 in there first innings chasing Caloundra’s 215 all out.

“This afternoon was a bit of a grind.

“They bowled quite well.

“[There were] a couple of silly shots from the boys.”

But there were a few memorable moments. 

“There was one from Stephan

“[He] got some guy on the back foot, hitting him on the body and the ball rolling onto the stumps, which I’ve never seen in a live game.

Gympie have slipped past Maroochydore to claim the final spot in the division 1 semis.

They defeated Tewantin Noosa on first innings by ten runs.

They will now play a Caboolture side that easily accounted for Maroochydore in the last game.

In Division 2B, Caboolture will travel to Yandina after they knocked off Caloundra for fourth spot on the ladder.

USC Buderim will have a shorter trip to Maroochydore after losing to them on first innings at the University.
