Caboolture have beaten Glasshouse outright by 8 wickets.
“I was probably the most nervous out there,” Caboolture Glen Batticciotto said.
“It was hard work. It could’ve gone either way.”
Glasshouse set Caboolture a target of 165, a target which the Snakes chased down inside 33 overs.
“At the end of the day this is why you play the game.
“Every premiership means the world to you.
“You wouldn’t play the game if you didn’t want to win a premiership.
“I’ve played different levels but they’re all an awesome feeling.”
Glasshouse captain Jeremy Schultz says his side had enough runs to defend.
“They probably showed us how we should have batted, he said
“They had a lot more intent in their shots.”
The premiership was Batticiotto’s second with Caboolture after transferring from Sandgate.
“At this point there’s one more year in me,” he said.
Shultz is in a similar position.
“I’m assuming I’ll be back at this stage.”
